Blue Lady Resort offers a 15 slip covered, lighted, private boat dock for its guest. The stalls are well-padded to protect your equipment. Whether you are bringing your own boat or need to rent one, we have what you need. The resort provides one 9 foot wide slip at no cost with each rental unit. Additional slips are available at a cost of $8.00 per slip, per day. We have electrical service for battery charging and a fish cleaning table for cleaning your catch. There’s plenty of room to park and our parking lots are illuminated at night. Rent a Boat for Fishing or Swimming
Age Requirements: Anyone born on or after January 1, 1986 and of legal age to operate a motorboat, must have successfully completed an approved Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Boating Education Course and carry proof while operating a motorboat on Arkansas water. The law also affects operators of sailboats. Personal Flotation Devices: PFDs Age Requirements: Boats under 16-feet long, canoes and kayaks must have one wearable (Type I, II or III) PFD in serviceable condition and of proper size for each person on board.Boats, 16 feet or longer, must have one wearable (Type I, II or III) PFD in serviceable condition and of proper size for each person on board and one Type IV (throw able) PFD in each boat. Children: Under the age of 13, children must wear a well-fitting PFD at all times while aboard a boat. The only exceptions are when they are within the enclosed area of a houseboat, cruiser or within the railings of a partybarge while the boat is not underway. Personal Watercraft: Occupants of personal watercraft (such as Jet skis, Sea-doos, etc.) are required to wear PFDs. Water Skiers: Must wear a Type I, II, III or V PFD. Water-skiing is not allowed from one-half hour after sunset to one-half hour before sunrise. Boats towing water-skiers must have, in addition to the driver, an observer at least 12 years of age or a wide angle convex marine mirror to observe the person being towed. We have a 10 x 20 fishing platform at the end of the main dock. You’ll catch crappies, walleye, stripers, hybrids, catfish, bream, and several species of bass. We have large lights on the dock for those guests that enjoy night fishing off the dock. Or take your own boat to a favorite spot for fishing. You can purchase a Norfork Lake map with a GPS Grid and it’s WATERPROOF from the resort store. For a real adventure, go out of a guided fishing trip. Our guides pick you up right at the resort dock and you’ll spend either a half day or a full day learning the tricks of the lake and catching your limit.
